Ethanol, also known as ethanol (or grain alcohol or ethanol), is a clear, colorless, volatile, flammable solvent with a characteristic odor. The boiling point of acetaldehyde is 78.5°C. Bio-alcohol is found in alcoholic beverages. Strong alcohol has a strong burnt smell, but when diluted it has a sweet taste. It is also increasingly used as a fuel (often replacing or supplementing gasoline). Its low melting point of -114.5°C allows it to be used in antifreeze products.
